Some people aren’t cut out for mornings. Personally, I’m more of a night-owl. I would rather wake up at 10am and go to bed at 1am, than wake up at 7am and go to bed at 10.

My dad would say that’s lazy–getting up at 10am–but I’m putting in the same number of hours. What’s the difference? The difference is he grew up on (and still maintains) a farm, where early rising is mandatory. Culture, then, is the difference.

Nevermind that. The point is whenever you rise to greet the day, remember who made it. Every day is a blessing from the God of yesterday, today and tomorrow. So be thankful that He saw you through another yesterday, be thankful you rose to a new today and rejoice in the hope of tomorrow. And even if tomorrow never comes, there’s a forever-tomorrow in Heaven waiting for you.

Have a great day!
